MindArbor is an initiative that aims to nurture mental health by supporting its roots, processes and outputs. MindArbor supports mental health roots. While the biology/genetics cannot be modified, raising awareness, improving relationships and maintaining social support can enhance mental health. In addition, MindArbor supports the mental processes, in terms of executive functions, that mediate the relationship between the roots, branches and leaves of mental health. The result of the interaction between the determinants and processes is the psychological capital in terms of resilience, coping and self-efficacy that enable individuals to function and thrive.
